COURSE DESCRIPTION
Very few systems have such an impact on the human body as the craniosacral system does. It protects and nourishes the brain, and the spinal cord - and has an overall impact on the performance of the central nervous system. That is why CranioSacral Therapy plays such an important role in healthcare practice. Developed by Dr. John Upledger American osteopath, after years of research and testing, it enables you to release fascial restrictions anywhere in the body that may be impinging the craniosacral system and every other system it interacts with.
In this workshop you'll learn techniques to normalize the craniosacral system and the self-healing ability of the body. By unraveling pain and dysfunction at the source, you'll naturally help eliminate stress, strengthen resistance to disease, and enhance health.

The schedule of the course is subject to change. Courses may run late each day in order to be able to cover all material planned for that day. Therefore, we kindly ask everyone to avoid planning other evening programs during the period of the course.

Slideshow about the anatomy of the cranium, the cranium sutures and the spinal and intracranial membrane system
Fascia as a uniform somatic system, transverse diaphragms, techniques to release restrictions of the pelvis, respiratory diaphragm, thoracic aperture and the hyoid bone.
Releasing restrictions of the occipital cranial base, and sacrum mobilization
Examination and treatment of the dural sac
Horizontal and vertical intracranial membrane system
Restrictions and blocks in the body, osseous and membranous restrictions, the iscous-elastic nature of tissues
Lifting the frontal bone
Lifting the parietal bone
Compression and decompression of the sphenoid bone
Mobilization of the temporal bone on two axes, and its’ bilateral decompression
The temporomandibular joint and temporomandibular techniques

TUITION FEE
Tuition fee is 650.00 USD that is Six-hundred and fifty US dollars including one copy of CS1 Study Guide in English, excluding travel, food, lodging and parking expenses during the course.
PAYMENT METHOD AND CONDITIONS
150.00 USD Registration Fee is to be paid via bank transfer at registration. In case of bank transfer please indicate your name and the course code (CST1.42) in the Comment Section. The amount of the remainder is 500.00 USD. The remainder is to be paid either in cash or via bank transfer after previous confirmation.
CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION
Cancellation deadline free of liquidated damages: the 42nd day prior the first day of the course. The amount of liquidated damages in case of a cancellation of 42-35 days prior the first day of the course is 50% of the tuition fee, and in case of a cancellation of 35-28 days prior the first day of the course it is 70% of the tuition fee. In case of a cancellation within 28 days prior the first day of the course, the amount of liquidated damages is the total tuition fee. 100.00 USD registration fee is included in the tuition fee. In case of a cancellation this amount is not refunded.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
- Agreement to comply with our general principles and rules of procedures (Code of Ethics)
- Approval of the head of the course organizer that is Upledger Institute Hungary Ltd.
- Submission of the application documents (1 copy of the Application Form filled in completely, 2 copies of the Course Contract signed on each page, 1 piece of a photo not older than 6 months) within the given deadline
- Complete payment of the Tuition Fee within the given deadline
- Active participation in three CranioSacral sessions as a patient, by three different CST-T certified, qualified Teaching Assistans being at least at level SER2, within 60 days prior the course. Names and contacts of therapists with qualification suitable for the demo-treatment can be found in the ‘Students’ main menu, with the help of the Search section. After the 3rd session please send an e-mail stating the following: name of therapy provider, date and place of each session.
This latter condition is inevitable for more reasons. On one hand, students can experience themselves the impact of the therapy they are about to learn. On the other, that is even more important, the experiences gained from professional therapists make it possible for students to give feedback on the quality of palpation during the practical sessions of the course, when practicing with each other.
Finally, it is of great importance not to have the three treatments by the same therapist. This way students can gain wider personal experience from several sources, without being influenced by the personality and style of treatment of one therapist.
We suggest you leaving 5-7 days between sessions, so that the body could adjust to the changes occurring due to the therapies. Please avoid having any therapies a couple of days prior the course.

APPLICATIONAL INFORMATION
At the end of the course students will receive a certification issued by the Upledger Institute Hungary. The issue of the certification is subject to the students’ presence during the whole period of the course, as well as, to their active participation and cooperation. The issued certificate does not qualify for individual medical activity.
The course belongs to accredited adult education, 17 credit points are given to healthcare professionals.
Mere participation and completing of the course does not entitle the participant to use the title ‘CranioSacral Therapist’. The usage of the title ‘CranioSacral Therapist’ is subject to completing CranioSacral Therapy Education Level 2 (CST2) course and to a successful CST-T (CranioSacral Therapy Technique Certificate) certification.
