Eventually, she decided that she also wanted to learn that method.

Her original degrees, besides Conductive Education, are in Marketing and Promotion Management and Communication at Vitéz János College in Esztergom, Hungary where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Currently she is participating in a 2-year master degree (M.Sc) program in Human Kinesiology at Semmelweis University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Science.
Since 2006 she has been working as a certified CranioSacral therapist in her home in Biatorbágy, Hungary. In 2010 she has opened her second private clinic in Budapest, where she leads a group of excellent, well trained CranioSacral therapists. Alison trained as a chiropractor following her own chiropractic treatment. She was impressed by the natural, holistic methods employed by chiropractic and the focus on the prevention of further health problems.
After 5 years of study at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, Alison graduated with a BSc and MSc chiropractic. Alison was also awarded the Holm Award for the female with the most holistic approach to patient care. After her studies, she decided to work in Surrey and West Sussex in natural health centres, to widen her knowledge of complementary medicine, before returning to her Scottish homeland to start her own practice in Ayr in 2002.
Alison has also trained in Applied Kinesiology, and in the Sunflower Method, a training in the treatment of children with learning difficulties. During her time in Surrey, Alison was one of five practitioners involved in treating children who were patients on a research project into the effectiveness of the Sunflower Method. She has also worked with brain damaged and physically disabled children.
Since graduation, she has become interested and trained in CranioSacral Therapy. She finds this a very useful tool for treating certain conditions and also when working with pregnant women and children. She is an instructor for the Upledger Institute in CST and teaches classes internationally on a regular basis.
Since 2002 she has also been training in Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute, and is increasingly using this with her patients.
